Our Knitters and Crocheters don't use a lot of adhesive, but every now and then, someone comes in with glue on their mind.
For this reason, we do stock a very limited supply of adhesives. If you need something in particular, do ask, we will get it in for you. If you need it, it's quite likely others will need it as well.
Adhesives for fabric and craft projects include glues, spray, adhesives and fabric glue.
Mod Podge: A non-toxic, all-purpose glue that dries clear and works on a wide range of materials, including fabrics, wood, and plastics
PVA: A white glue that dries clear and is common in school classrooms. It's often used for paper crafts.
Super glue: A strong adhesive that dries quickly, making it ideal for repairing broken objects or attaching small items together.
Spray adhesive: Good for use on foams, paper crafts, and photos.
Fabric glue: A quick and easy way to bond fabric together without the need for sewing. It's a good option for those who are not skilled in sewing or do not have a sewing machine.
Fabri-Fuse: Offers a stretch adhesion for fabrics and crystals onto Lycra and other flexible or stretchy fabrics.
Fray Lock: Prevents your threads and fabrics from fraying when cut.
Extreme Tack: Creates reusable tacky glue dots.
When using adhesives, it's important to choose the right type for your project and to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. You can also test the glue on a scrap piece of material before using it on your final project.
